2018 Silver Gull Play Award

subtlenuance is pleased to announce entries are now open for the 

      2018 Silver Gull Play Award

The Silver Gull Play Award recognises an outstanding play by a local writerthat explores philosophical or political themes. 

The aim of the award is to encourage interest in theatrethat both offers insight and encourages action.

This year the total prize money for the award will rise to $5000.

The winning playwright will receive $3000 and the remainder of the prize pool will be split evenly between the shortlisted writers.  

Entries are now open and close on 30 April 2018. 

The winner will be announced in August 2018.
