Prelude is an exciting residency program created specifically for composers.
Designed to establish the time and space needed to create new works, it allows composers to focus on their craft while residing in a heritage listed Australian home.
Musical creators from any genre and stage of their career are invited to apply for this unique opportunity. The three successful applicants will be offered long-term residence in one of three heritage listed homes in Adelaide, Perth or Sydney, plus a stipend.
Prelude is a unique collaboration between Bundanon Trust, Peggy Glanville-Hicks Composers Trust, The National Trust of Western Australia, the National Trust of South Australia, The National Trusts of Australia, APRA, the Helpmann Academy, Arts SA and the Australian Government through the Australia Council. It builds on the established residency at Peggy Glanville-Hicks’ home in Paddington, Sydney and is managed by Bundanon Trust.
