Young Female Actor for Book Trailer

We require a female actor who can play 17 - 20 for the lead role in a major, film-quality YA book trailer. TATTOO is set in the 1960s and tells the story of Mercy, teenage fugitive, and her obsessive search across America for her birth father.

We will be filming around Melbourne in July, across several locations. You will be working with a female director and a professional crew, and you will receive a copy of the book as part of your preparation!

All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Mercy (lead)

Mercy is the lead character and narrator of the book (and the trailer). When the story starts she is 17 and has suffered through the suicide of her mother. After a fire kills her stepfather, Mercy is branded a murderess. Over the next 3 years she travels across America searching for her birth father, in the hope of finding comfort and family again.

Mercy is described as blue-eyed, with fair skin and curly brown hair. You will also play older Mercy (probably with a blonde wig).
