Many in the arts will be glad to see the back of 2015. It has been a year of uncertainty and battles, shrinking budgets, moving goalposts, and a feeling we are spending more time at the barricades than in the rehearsal room. The year has ended with another blow, prompting doubts as to whether the arts sector can recover from a year of turbulence.
