The world’s first full scale working replica of Shakespeare’s famous Globe Theatre will be opening in Melbourne on the 21 September and running until 12 November.
A cultural coup for the city of Melbourne, acting Premier James Merlino along with John Eren Minister for Tourism and Major Events announced the project on Thursday, ‘Victoria is the events and cultural capital of Australia, and we’re proud to add the Pop-up Globe to our already world class events calendar.’ Merlino said.
