Jonathan Church
Sydney Theatre Company Artistic Director Jonathan Church has stepped down from the role.
Church said it had proved impossible for him to work in Australia while continuing his commitments in the UK. In addition to his STC job, Church has a partnership with musicals entrepreneur Cameron Mackintosh, called Jonathan Church Productions, which was set up to produce West End productions in London not long before he took the Australian job.
