Melbourne’s arts community is mourning the death of philanthropist Betty Amsden, whose generosity assisted many organisations and activities, including Arts Centre Melbourne, Melbourne Recital Centre, the Australian Ballet School, Polyglot Theatre, the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra and Victorian Opera.
