Matilda sweeps Helpmann Awards

The Royal Shakespeare Company’s Australian production of Matilda the Musical, based on the children’s book by Roald Dahl and featuring music and lyrics by Tim Minchin, won an unprecedented 13 Helpmann Awards at last night’s ceremony at the Sydney Lyric Theatre including the awards for Best Musical, Best Original Score, and Best Choreography.
