Seven Melbourne metropolitan councils, and three in the regions, have been recognised for their support of live music by peak body Music Victoria.

The organisation, a not-for-profit advocacy body for musicians, venues and music businesses, has released its inaugural Top 10 Victorian Councils for Music list.
