New initiatives announced for women theatre-makers

A new women’s theatre festival and an online collection of works by Australian women playwrights have been launched in Sydney.

The two new initiatives were launched in Sydney on Monday night, on the eve of International Women’s Day.  

Presented by advocacy body Women In Theatre and Screen (WITS) and supported by the Darlinghurst Theatre Company and Creative Partnerships Australia through the MATCH Program, Festival Fatale will run over 29-30 October at the Eternity Playhouse, Darlinghurst.
