Dancing up a storm in Perth

New contemporary dance company Co3 is preparing for its debut performance: a triple bill at the State Theatre Centre of WA.

Western Australia’s newest contemporary dance company, Co3 (its name references the abbreviation of both ‘company’ and ‘contemporary’, and its three core activities: the professional dance ensemble, and the company’s youth and education engagement and training programs) was formed out of the merger of two previous companies, Buzz Dance Theatre and STEPS Youth Dance Company, in May 2014.

Richard Watts is ArtsHub's National Performing Arts Editor; he also presents the weekly program SmartArts on Three Triple R FM, and serves as the Chair of La Mama Theatre's volunteer Committee of Management.
