Exit stage left: Geoffrey Rush leaves MTC production

The actor has cited ‘current circumstances and medical advice’ as his reasons for leaving a production of Twelfth Night, which was due to open in November.

Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush has withdrawn from the Melbourne Theatre Company’s (MTC) forthcoming production of Twelfth Night.

The MTC announced Rush’s departure from the production in a media release on Monday night.
