Melbourne celebrates at Green Room Awards

More than 60 awards were presented across seven categories at Melbourne's performing arts industry awards.

Melbourne’s performing arts sector came together at the Comedy Theatre on Monday night at the presentation of the 33rd annual Green Room Awards, recognising outstanding professional work presented in 2015.

Among those celebrating was Malthouse Theatre Company, which picked up five awards – including Best Production, Best Writing for the Australian Stage (Declan Greene) and Best Female Actor (Melita Jurisic) – in the Theatre Companies category for its production I Am a Miracle.
