SA arts sector celebrates ‘new’ funding and theatre redevelopment

$7.7 million has been returned to the state's arts budget, while a $35 million upgrade for Her Majesty’s Theatre has also been announced.

The South Australian Government today announced a $35.2 million investment over three years for the redevelopment and expansion of Adelaide’s Her Majesty’s Theatre, in order to attract more touring productions to the venue – one of the last remaining theatres from the 20th century Tivoli circuit.
