Unlikely new musical celebrates local stories

The heightened emotion of a legendary rugby league victory have been set to music for a new production bucking touring trends.

Author and journalist Hugh Lunn is bucking a trend: instead of creating a musical with an eye to national and international touring opportunities, he’s very firmly focused on his local market. His musical celebrates a Queensland triumph in the State’s favourite spectator sport of rugby league.
