Westside Circus appoint new CEO

The community circus company’s interim CEO has now been made permanent in the position.

The Board of Westside Circus today announced the appointment of Simon Clarke as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.  

‘The Board is excited to appoint Simon as CEO and we are confident that he will continue the excellent work he has so enthusiastically initiated in the past 12 months as interim CEO. Simon’s depth of experience and energy will ensure that Westside Circus continues its growth as a dynamic arts organisation focusing on work with and for young people,’ said Board Chair, Professor Peter Matthews.

Richard Watts is ArtsHub's National Performing Arts Editor; he also presents the weekly program SmartArts on Three Triple R FM, and serves as the Chair of La Mama Theatre's volunteer Committee of Management.
