Steven McRae grew up in Sydney, at 17 won a scholarship to the Royal Ballet School, and joined the company in 2004. His versatile repertoire ranges from classic to new and modern work, and has taken him all over the world. After recovery from injury prompted him to consider his life after dancing he undertook a Degree in Business Management and Leadership, with a view to using his international career to nurture the health and welfare of the next generation of dancers. He will speak about the joys and dangers of being a dancer in the fast lane.
