Thrashville announces full program for 2018

The Hunter Valley’s very own heavy music and camping festival Thrashville is proud to announce the full program of events set to go down on Saturday January 20, 2018, at the glorious bush surrounds of Dashville.

Headliners Frenzal Rhomb will cap off a full day of 14 energetic live performances across two stages. With great established acts like King Parrot and Frankenbok, intertwined with the best emerging new talents in the heavy music and punk scenes. Local favourites the Dashville Progress Society will slip onto stage in the mid afternoon, to undoubtedly provide their heaviest set of classic hits they’ve ever embarked on.

Complimenting the live music program will be an array of live visual art provided by a some of Australia’s best graffiti artists, including indigenous street artists Yowa and Brentyn Lugnan.

Other exciting components include live skateboarding demostrations presented by Grundy Skate and an evening epic death defying fire and stunt show by the one and only Stevo Extremo.

Listed as The Mighty Shave in the program, local Lower Belford legend and epic beard grower Neil Smith will take to the Thrashville stage to shave his 26 year old beard off in support of registered charity, REDKITE- supporting kids with cancer. Driven by the suffering of a close family friend, Neil has already raised well over $3000 for the charity, and alongside a major prize raffle at the festival, (which includes a double pass to The Gum Ball), it is anticipated that The Mighty Shave will make a big difference for a young man in need. To support Neil’s mission you can donate via his Everyday Hero fundraising page http://bit.ly/2FevVqk or come to Thrashville and purchase a raffle ticket!

And also, due to popular demand, Thrashville has reduced the age limit to 13+. All under- 18 punters must be accompanied by a legitimate legal guardian. Please note the event will contain heavy music, grown up content and swears. Parents are advised to use their discretion.

Tickets are $60. There is an optional on-site camping ticket.
