Richard is one of Australia’s pre-eminent and most admired conductors specialising in opera, musical theatre and vocal and choral training and is internationally respected as a music educator. Richard’s work in developing young musicians and creating opportunities for them is recognised world-wide. Richard is committed to the promotion of music education in children as a foundation for their learning “Music education does not just make children more musical; it unleashes their creative powers” (Limelight Magazine Jan 2013)

Doors open at 6.30pm. Join us for a glass of wine and an evening of conversation, followed by a Q&A with the audience.

Fine Music 102.5 (formerly known as 2MBS FM 102.5) is Australia’s first stereo FM radio station. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, FIne Music FM broadcasts a wide range of fine music. Renowned composers, orchestras, ensembles and soloists are featured in programs of classical and jazz music. In addition, Fine Music 102.5 is dedicated to fostering young Australian talent through the several annual youth engagement programs such as the Young Performers Award and Young Composers Award. Fine Music FM publish Fine Music, a monthly magazine featuring interviews, previews, opinions, news, arts calendar and CD reviews. Apart from a small number of staff members, the station is entirely operated by hundreds of music lovers.
