Festival Band Night: Ta Go Lak

Ta Go Lak’s high-energy percussive music explores improvisational areas that emerge in response to Korean folk and shamanic traditions and rhythmic textures found in the Pacific. Traversing the full sound and energy spectrum from meditative elements to resounding gongs and explosive climaxes, Ta Go Lak contrast traditional folk instruments with full modern drumkits. Recent performances include concerts at Tasmania’s Museum of Old and New Art (MONA).
