ICONIC – A Brief History of Drag

A triple threat of heavenly vocals, theatrical swagger and quick wit come to the 2018 Adelaide Fringe with ICONIC - A Brief History of Drag.

Following sell-out performances in the UK and Australia, ICONIC features the most significant drag moments of film, stage and popular culture.

ICONIC is a colourful collection of the music we all know and love, led by UK's beloved drag queen who switches effortlessly between genres, with nods to Bowie, Boy George, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Tina Turner and more.

Velma is the alter-ego of London West End performer Ian Stroughair, who has recently appeared on Eastenders and has performed in hit shows such as Cats, Fame, Chicago and Rent .

Stroughair, who wrote Iconic by a hotel pool in Tanzania ,describes the show as "a monster drag review dedicated to all those camp classics"
