LITTLE BAGHDAD: Cafes & Gardens

This event provides a rare experience for audiences to engage with Australia’s recent refugee community through storytelling, performance and the sharing of a delicious Iraqi feast within the unique setting of the Parent's Cafe at Fairfield Community Gardens.

Parents Café is recognised by the United Nations as one of the best refugee re-settlement programs in the world. This event provides a rare experience for audiences to engage with Australia’s recent refugee community through storytelling, performance and the sharing of a delicious Iraqi feast in the unique setting of the Parents Cafe Garden.

LITTLE BAGHDAD brings together artists, community leaders and members of the refugee community to celebrate and explore what it means to be Iraqi in 21st Century Australia. 

Ticket price includes Iraqi feast, drinks and all performances for the evening. Little Baghdad is an alcohol free event held inside the Parents Cafe gardens on the ground s of Fairfield High School. Families welcome.
