Presented by AOT in partnership with TNN and NSW & ACT Performing Arts Centres Association.
Not sure where to start? Join us for a full-day workshop that tells you everything you need to know about getting your work on the road.
An informative, demystifying workshop for independent artists, companies and producers who are new to or getting a handle on performing arts touring in regional Australia.
What will the workshop cover?
Hear from NSW/ACT presenters, experienced tourers and the Arts on Tour team about:
- Is my show tour-ready?
- How do I sell my show?
- What are presenters looking for?
- How do I build an itinerary, develop a touring budget and work out fees?
- What grants can I apply for?
- How to write a winning grant application
- Arts on Tour services and AOT's Community Presenter Touring Grant (CPTG)
We'll publish the full program 2 weeks before the event. If you've already registered, we'll email it to you. It will also be available here and on AOT's website: https://www.artsontour.com.au/initiatives/
Once the program is announced, you're welcome to cherry pick the sessions that are most relevant to you, but the full ticket price will still apply.
What else do I need to know?
The ticket price covers your lunch and a drink after the workshop at 107 Projects' downstairs bar.
Capacity is limited, so book earlier rather than later to avoid missing out - and let us know if your plans change and you can no longer attend.
