Jerks, morons, flakes – let’s face it: PEOPLE SUCK. This hilarious and all too relatable musical explores the many, many ways in which people are just the worst. This intimate show is a not so gentle reminder to be ever vigilant and learn to be better human beings, one day at a time…
Part of the inaugural One Act Play Festival, presented by The Butterfly Club, this will be the first ever production of People Suck in Australia. Having originated in Toronto, Canada at the Toronto Fringe Festival in 2016, this song cycle took home numerous awards (including Best of Fringe and People’s Choice) and featured regular performers from the North American comedy institution, Second City. With a cast of only 5, this is an opportunity for the right individuals to become part of an Australian Premiere and be a member of a dedicated, creative and passionate team with an aim for future and growing incarnations (including an already prepared longer version of People Suck) moving forward.
