Music Residency - Extended

Cardinia Shire Council is seeking applications from emerging contemporary musicians to take part in a month-long residency and mentoring program.

Successful applicants will be mentored by industry professionals, offering opportunities for capacity building, and enabling the successful applicants to create music, take creative risks and learn the industry ropes. The Residencies will run over October and November with each successful applicant given time to focus on their practice, combined with tailor-made activities that focus on fostering and expanding skills and knowledge.

The Mentors:

James Seymour (Feelds, Merpire)
Artist/Producer/Engineer

 Jarred Young (Bad Pony, Feelds):
Artist/Artist Manager/Booking Agent

Each Residency will focus on the following four aspects of the music industry:

Musicality
Technical/Production
Marketing/Social Media
Professional Development
