Music industry charity Support Act is reaching out to people who are working in music across the arts and struggling due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Thanks to funding support from the Australian Government through the Office for the Arts, they are now offering cash grants called MusicKeeper and CrewKeeper.
Hundreds have applied already, but Support Act thinks there are many more music workers across all genres who may be eligible and haven’t yet reached out for help. It’s quick and easy to apply and all applications are confidential.
The cash grants are valued at $2,000 for individuals and $2,700 for families with dependent children and are available to anyone working professionally in music, from singers, musicians, composers to crew, artist managers and administrators.
