This programme is for those who want to specialize in teaching the Royal Academy of Dance’s work; who want to combine their personal and professional commitments and study part-time for two years; gain registered teacher status of the RAD; teach the RAD syllabus and enter candidates for RAD examinations.

Course Requirements

The programme is 2 years part-time starting in January. Students are required to attend a 10 day Intensive Study Period in Year 1 and in Year 2 comple


Prerequisites

Applicants should hold RAD Intermediate examination, or a recognised equivalent in ballet. Applicants without formal qualifications may be considered on submission of DVD/video evidence.


Work Placement

Students undertake a mentoring programme and intensive study periods in each year.
