Panopticon Collective are currently seeking a volunteer musician to compose music for 1 track for an episode of their upcoming web series, 'Flesh Bags'.
Flesh Bags is a collection of 6 Melbourne-based stories with loosely connecting ties, taking place in the not too distant future. Episode 2 follows Kass, a once-famous comedian who's hit rock bottom and is faced with the stark reality of her existence after becoming addicted to a synthetic drug known as Happy.
Lyrics have already been written for the song and the musician will be required to compose a Black Sabbath-esque Drop-D sounding track to accompany the lyrics. The actress who performs in the lead role will be recorded and mixed singing the song.
The episode is being directed by Joe Betros (www.josephbetros.com) and Executive Produced by Jeni Bezuidenhout & Sebastian Bertoli.
If you're a musician looking to explore creating for film and television, this is a great opportunity to work with a team of commited and passioante filmmakers.
To apply, please email your expression of interest outlining your history in music and any links to your work.
