Founded in 1978, Circus Oz will mark its 40th anniversary in 2018, and while the company will no doubt celebrate that achievement in style, its longevity also presents a challenge for new Artistic Director, Rob Tannion.

It’s not just the age of the company either. Tannion replaces previous Artistic Director Mike Finch, who spent 17 years in the role, a tremendous tenure in a fickle industry.
