Ausdance cancels 2019 Australian Dance Awards

After 21 years, a reduction in government funding has forced Ausdance National to put the Australian Dance Awards on hold.

The 2019 Australian Dance Awards, which were due to be presented in Darwin in August, have been cancelled.

Organising body Ausdance National has cited their reduced funding as the primary reason for the cancellation of the popular event, which has been held annually for 21 years.
