Justice Michael Wigney has ruled in favour of actor Geoffrey Rush in the Nationwide News & Anor v. Geoffrey Rush court case in Sydney.

Rush has been awarded at least $850,000 after the judge found he had been defamed by Sydney newspaper The Daily Telegraph and journalist Jonathan Moran.
