NAISDA Dance College has appointed Deon Hastie to the position of Head of Dance.

Hastie, a descendant of the Djabugay people of Far North Queensland, will oversee the College’s unique and rigorous artistic and cultural training program.  

A former NAISDA student, he graduated in 1998 from the national performing arts training organisation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
