A quest for love in both the real and virtual worlds is at the centre of My Radio Heart, a new theatre production commissioned by Northern Rivers Performing Arts (NORPA) and developed in collaboration with Western Sydney’s Urban Theatre Projects (UTP).

‘On the one hand it’s about a young man who’s lost his entire family and recreates a virtual world, replete with avatars with individual missions, as a kind of escape. The audience is never told explicitly about how he lost his family – but it is clear that he is on his own,’ said director Rosie Dennis.
