Curious oversights and great triumphs in 2019 Helpmann Awards nominations

Barbara and the Camp Dogs is a compelling Australian play nominated across two awards categories for a total of nine Helpmann Awards, including Best Musical and Best Production of a Play. Despite skilfully helming the critically acclaimed production, its director, Leticia Caceres, has not been nominated for her work in either the Theatre or Musicals categories.
