Theatre-maker Matt Scholten has been the Artistic Director of Benalla Performing Arts and Convention Centre (BPACC) for less than two months, but has already launched an ambitious new program designed to support theatremakers living in north-east Victoria.

Scholten, who started at BPACC in early June, recently secured a $14,800 Australia Council to fund skills workshops for emerging theatre makers in the region, with the first workshop to be held this Friday.
