Hayley Millar-Baker’s work (untitled) the circumstances are that a whale had come on shore

Bundoora Homestead Art Centre has announced Hayley Millar-Baker as the winner of the 2019 Darebin Art Prize is. Millar-Baker will receive a cash prize of $10,000 and her artwork will be acquired into the Darebin City Council’s permanent art collection.

The judging panel this year was comprised of: Lisa Radford, Lecturer in Art, Victorian College of the Arts, Kimba Thompson, Director & Curator, Blak Dot Gallery, and Renee Cosgrave, Artist and Acting Curator at Bundoora Homestead Art Centre.
