A hilarious, award-winning musical about individual expression based on the book by Jackie French & Bruce Whatley, adapted for the stage by Monkey Baa founders Eva Di Cesare, Sandie Eldridge & Tim McGarry.
Shaun isn’t like the other shearers... he’d rather be styling than shearing & instead of ‘sheep-dog’, he has a ‘sheep-sheep’ named Pete! After being rejected by the shearers and their dogs, the duo set up their own salon in town & before long they are inundated with woolly clients & maybe a Ringer or two!
Written in collaboration with Australian comedy stalwarts Jonathan Biggins
& Phil Scott (of Wharf Revue fame), the show walks the very clever line
of entertaining small people whilst also offering a 'pun-and-a-wink' to amuse adult attendees. Scott’s catchy songs, combined with Biggins comedic direction of a brilliant new cast delivers a wonderful, family experience.
