Cheryl Davison is a Walbunja and Ngarigo storyteller and artist with connections to the Wallaga Lake Aboriginal community on the south coast of NSW. In this drop-in workshop at the Hyde Park Barracks, Cheryl will share her family’s stories and explore the use of symbols and designs to tell stories of Country.
This event is just one of a series of programs to celebrate the reopening of the Hyde Park Barracks and presentation of untitled (maraong manaóuwi), a major site-specific art installation by Sydney-based Wiradjuri/Kamilaroi artist Jonathan Jones, presented by Sydney Living Museums and Art & About.
