Geelong Jazz Soirées with Amelia Evans

Geelong Jazz Soirées is presenting Amelia Evans live at Geelong's historic Victorian Railway Institute Hall.

Amelia is an award winning jazz vocalist and was the 2017 winner of the coveted James Morrison Generations in Jazz Vocal Scholarship as chosen by James Morrison and an expert panel of some of the world’s finest musicians. This allowed her to record her debut album The First Song recorded by ABC Jazz.

For this special Geelong event, Amelia will be performing a selection of her favourite jazz standards accompanied by an ensemble of talented Geelong jazz musicians including Callum Watson (Piano), Evan Jones (Bass) and Sean Loughran (Drums).
