Fairbridge Festival

Opportunity For Budding Young Song-writers

Act-Belong-Commit Fairbridge Festival Quest youth song-writing workshops across the state - Albany to Broome

The Act-Belong-Commit Fairbridge Festival Quest youth songwriting workshops across the state are hosted by schools and community organisations dedicated to the arts and the nurturing of creativity.

The four-hour workshops are facilitated by one or two award-winning songwriters from a pool of David Hyams, Alex Turner, Helen Townsend, Lucy Peach and Andrew Winton.
The workshops look at how to get started, writing methods and techniques used by professional songwriters, what makes a good song and how to perform it. Designed for absolute beginners or emerging artists, we provide tips on what audiences and song competition judges look for and how to present songs to both audiences.

The heavily-subsidised tickets at only $25 are available online at Fairbridge Festival's website or trybooking.com. We look forward to aspiring young songwriters taking full advantage of this opportunity!
